The First Wives Club was a 1996 classic. Bette Midler, Dianne Keaton, and Goldie Hawn play women who were best friends in college. After the suicide of one of the gals, they are reunited at her funeral and discover that each has a husband who has left them for a younger woman. Hilarity ensues.

Hawn's character Elise's husband leaves her for Jessie Spano aka Elizabeth Berkley and also her biggest fan (she plays an actress).
